Two-day seminar

Elastomer Materials and Seals

About the Seminar

During the two seminar days, our trainer Bernhard Richter will provide you with basic knowledge of technical elastomer materials. You will learn more about the typical properties of the most important elastomer types and their use as seals.

We will also show you which factors have a significant influence on the function of the components in use. Finally, during a guided tour through our laboratory, we will explain the physical and analytical test methods used on site in our test laboratory in Großbottwar.

Upcoming seminar dates: 14 – 15 May 2024 und 05 – 06 November 2024
Seminar fee: 1,195 Euro + VAT
Venue: Training centre Elastomer Training Richter, Reinhold-Würth-Straße 5 in 74360 Ilsfeld

Your Seminar Instructor

Dipl.-Ing. Bernhard Richter

After studying mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Bernhard Richter worked for a leading global O-ring manufacturer for over 12 years, the last 7 years of which as head of application technology, before founding the O-Ring Prüflabor Richter in 1996. Since then, he has passed on his knowledge in up to 30 seminars every year. His ability to explain even complex issues in a way that is easy to understand is particularly appreciated. Furthermore, he is not afraid to provide users with clear decision criteria. He has been an expert in the ISO working group for O-ring standardisation (ISO 3601) for more than 10 years and is well known for his numerous publications.
