Two-day Seminar

O-ring Seals – Dimensioning, Operational Limits and Applications

About the Seminar

Over a total of two days, our seminar instructor Bernhard Richter will familiarise you with the O-ring sealing element. You will learn how to correctly design O-ring installation spaces and what to pay attention to. In addition You will understand how to assess deviations from the design guidelines.

Furthermore, Bernhard Richter will demonstrate the high and low temperature limits of O-rings as well as realistic service life expectations and provide participants with many important application-related tips.

Upcoming Seminar date: 23 – 24 April 2024
Seminar fee: 1,195 Euro + VAT
Venue: Training centre Elastomer Training Richter, Reinhold-Würth-Straße 5, 74360 Ilsfeld

Your Seminar Instructor

Dipl.-Ing. Bernhard Richter

After studying mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Bernhard Richter worked for a leading global O-ring manufacturer for over 12 years, the last 7 years of which as head of application technology, before founding the O-Ring Prüflabor Richter in 1996. Since then, he has passed on his knowledge in up to 30 seminars every year. His ability to explain even complex issues in a way that is easy to understand is particularly appreciated. Furthermore, he is not afraid to provide users with clear decision criteria. He has been an expert in the ISO working group for O-ring standardisation (ISO 3601) for more than 10 years and is well known for his numerous publications.
