Two-day Seminar

Testing of Elastomer Seals

About the Seminar

In this seminar, our seminar instructor Bernhard Richter will introduce you to the most important test methods for incoming goods and qualification tests. Over a total of two days, you will learn how the properties and media resistance of elastomers are determined and how the components themselves are tested.

You will also get an overview which extended material tests are useful for seals. A guided tour through our accredited test laboratory in Großbottwar completes the seminar and gives all participants the opportunity to familiarise with the actual application of the test methods.

Upcoming seminar date: 03 – 04 December 2024
Seminar fee: 1,195 Euro + VAT
Venue: Training centre Elastomer Training Richter, Reinhold-Würth-Straße 5, 74360 Ilsfeld

Your Seminar Instructor

Dipl.-Ing. Bernhard Richter

After studying mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Bernhard Richter worked for a leading global O-ring manufacturer for over 12 years, the last 7 years of which as head of application technology, before founding the O-Ring Prüflabor Richter in 1996. Since then, he has passed on his knowledge in up to 30 seminars every year. His ability to explain even complex issues in a way that is easy to understand is particularly appreciated. Furthermore, he is not afraid to provide users with clear decision criteria. He has been an expert in the ISO working group for O-ring standardisation (ISO 3601) for more than 10 years and is well known for his numerous publications.
