In addition to the necessary frost protection provided by glycols or other fluids, additives prevent corrosion. For this purpose, specially additivated coolants are fed into the cooling water. These are best known under the name Glysantin (manufacturer BASF), e.g. G48.<\/p>\n<p>However, supposedly simple water or steam also challenges elastomer materials, which is why appropriate resistance tests are advisable in this case as well.<\/p>\n<p>We carry out tests in water, steam, in cooling water blends and other aqueous mixtures up to more than 200\u00b0C.
